[Robin is sitting at her desk with a curious dog in her lap. Yes, that is a mustache. She looks neutral though the dog looks faintly worried--or perhaps constipated--it's difficult to tell]

For those who don't know, Marco has been kidnapped. Let's hope he comes back as something bearable, ne? But I would prepare for the worst. The Malnosso have been too kind lately. [She pets the dog's head lightly as if this doesn't bother her overly much]

A lesson to all you new feathers, the Malnosso will come for you one day without fail. There is no fighting them yet, though of course you should try. Don't allow yourself to be taken easily. However, when that time comes, you will be taken in--experimented on, tortured perhaps--you may remember it, you may not. You may be changed, you may not. Either way, your existence will be altered.

Though, on the bright side, the effects are usually temporary. After all, there's no point in permanently incapacitating a test subject when they are needed for further use.

A bit. There have been a decided lack of zombies of late and no one that I know has been turned into anything too painful.

Though 'kind' is certainly not any word I'd associate with them in seriousness.

I will give you that, last month they seemed to skip on me and Kotomi-chan as well. Guess that's pretty "kind" for them. Still, looking at Marco specifically I would say they haven't been even that "kind" to him.

[A pause.]

Think we will be lucky enough to get him just seriously wounded in in need of a week in the clinic?

[Yes, that counts as being lucky.]

I doubt it. If anything it will be a deep emotional wound on top of everything else he has suffered and lost. [It's better to plan for the worst than the best]

Even if he may not wish it-- [she sighs] I hope he is sent home rather than returning. Though I suppose he will mourn Firefist-san either way.

[He had heard loud sounds on a journal entry not too long before this one was posted, not knowing what had happened until now. The poor soul. Oak knew that those in Luceti would get experimented on, but he didn't know that they would be taken without notice and in such a violent manner.]

...I'm sorry. [Is all he could say on the subject. He doesn't know the woman whom he's speaking to now or the one who has been kidnapped, but he feels that one should sympathize in a situation like this. He wouldn't dare imagine how he would react if it were to happen to Green; it's not something any parent or grandparent would want to face, especially when there's nothing you can do to stop it]

Mm but that doesn't make the things they may do any less terrible. Someone I know was once turned into an old man and subsequently died of old age and there was nothing anyone could do but watch him go. He returned, of course, to be used again--but it was still a painful process for those who cared about him, I imagine.

I mean, I know they do generally annoying things, but I didn't know they even just let someone die like that.

Insofar as I've seen, the only warning you get is seeing the bots approach and by then it's far too late unless you are so much incredibly stronger than anyone else here.

No thank you, Sanji-kun. [there is no point for it. He will only return to see her either sad or not sad enough and she doesn't want to put that on his shoulders. There is nothing he can do. No words he can say. It is just Luceti being Luceti]

Perhaps if he returns changed... [Maybe it won't matter. She tries not to sound as tired as she feels about all of this]
