[For most of the day, Robin will be in the library. There is a sign tacked on the door reading:
Those with outstanding fines or books overdue two weeks or more will be severely penalized in three days time. It's recommended you take care of this now. ~Robin Nico. Head Librarian.
She herself will be inside the library all day, awaiting frantic returns and/or deposits before someone comes to remind her that she is going to be late for dinner again. Feel free to stop by at any time.]

Sorry, Mom.

Do you think sorry is enough? You should know better, Twilight Sparkle. [she turns the page] I'm sure you know well enough by now how to check them in and put them away.
no subject
She holds the books open one at a time and scans them in, tucking them back into the saddlebag her parents gave her as she does. She feels a little bit of indignant shame, but her mother is a stickler for the rules, and there's nothing she can do about that. Twilight doesn't entirely blame her, either.
She stops on one book and pushes it towards her. History of the Stars. ] I couldn't put this one down, I must have read it six times. Do you think we could go looking at them some time?
no subject
Of course, sweetheart. Maybe when... your father gets back. [why does that word stick in her throat? She mentally shakes it off.] We can have a night picnic.
[she shuts the book and puts it the desks lower shelf for her own purposes.]
I'm going to go make some coffee. Would you like some, Twilight-chan? Or would you prefer tea?

...Alas, a teacher's work is never done.
On the way to the library, Spock had picked up the flowers, hoping that the small gift of his affection would appease Robin.
The Vulcan knocks on the door.... a small smile gracing his features as he reads the note.
Only his wife.]

I'm decent!
no subject
Quirking an eyebrow, the Vulcan opens the door...]
I should certainly hope so.
[Spock presents the flowers.] For you Ashaya.
no subject
[She takes the flowers]
Thank you, anata. [she presses a small kiss against his mouth.]
I'm going to go get a vase. Check in the rest of those for me? [and she gestures to the small pile of books sitting on the desk]

He's currently stacking some of the already returned books in the shelves.]
Hey, Mom! Seems like we're missing some of those recent history books again!
no subject
Which ones? If it's the astronomy book I think your sister has it still. [she'd better not have more of them, though Robin knew Twilight had a fair amount]
Also, dear, someone asked me if you were going to try out for the baseball team next month... I think you'd be a good benefit to the team if you went. [and by benefit, she means the best player. Simply because he is hers and the universe wouldn't dare work any other way]

Peeking out from behind the shelf to look to his mother, he makes a questioning look at her suggestion.]
Hmmm...probably. I'm gonna need to practice first though. Maybe I'll do that this week.

[she finishes sorting and starts to wield the cart toward him]
Tell me about your day.How is school going?

He lets the door close behind him as he enters and scans the area, initially ignoring Robin before he scowls slightly. Despite how most of his family has some degree of love for books, Ikki has never been interested in reading them himself, preferring to listen as others read out loud. So his visits to the library normally are with the mere purpose of seeing his aunt or...]
Aunt Robin, have you seen Selphie?
[... Or search for his sister.]
no subject
Ikki, make a dramatic entrance if you must but please keep your voice down. As it happens I haven't seen her. [faint concern crosses Robin's face]
Is she missing?
no subject
[It's mostly an automatic response though he is sorry, he didn't think he was being too loud but if Robin said so then he must have been. He sighs in annoyance at the negative answer before he shakes his head, answering in a lower tone, hoping that it's enough like that.]
No. I still have a few places to look in before I consider her missing.
[Ikki has never needed a reason to search through Heaven and Hell for his sister, or to make it a serious matter even if she was in the next room from him. Sister complex at its best. Fortunately, it's not so bad that he doesn't care about the rest of his family, he gives the sign a look before he approaches his aunt.]
What serious penalization can you give people for not returning books in time?
[He has always wanted to ask that.]
no subject
Come help me shelve things, ne? And as for the penalty-- well if you have to ask you truly don't want to know.
[she smiles and pushes a cart around the desk, raising an eyebrow at him]

Hi Aunt Robin!
no subject
Hello, Selphie. [she takes the books as Selphie puts them up and starts to check them in] Did you have a good day at work?
no subject
[She gives her aunt a worried look after that.]
A lot of people are coming in looking for work though in light of the strike at the textiles factory though. They keep asking me about working for Mr. Brief and they don't seem too enthused when I tell them that he's tough but fair.
I think some people are just looking for an easy ride through life and they sure won't get it with Capsule Corp.

Library *SUPER* backdated to day 1
[Actually Marco is blissfully unaware that he is supposed to be at the zoo.]
[Yet.]
[He spent the first hour after he woke up dancing and gloating that without the extra Luceti wings he was pretty, gorgeous, awesome, and flying was that much easier. So was dancing as a phoenix. Actually everything as a phoenix was!]
[Then he went to find Robin to show her and gloat and show off and that was when he noticed the entire area was messed up.]
[What.]
[The.]
[Hell.]
[Well, whatever. When in doubt? TO THE LIBRARY. Because if Robin wasn't in the library, then he could start worrying.]
[Hi Robin, there's a bright blue peacock peering at you from that bookshelf.]
no subject
My, my, bird-chan. Have you come to be lunch?
no subject
[Instead he coyly chirps no and flits over to her shoulders to affectionately nudge her cheek.]

You're just doing this because you want to read, And Then There Were None again.
[He's also smoking cigars in your precious library again. Worst big brother ever.]

[and she passes over an ashtray]
Or did you forget the Tom Clancy you had on hold?
no subject
I didn't.
[Are you saying he can't read both at the same time?!]
Sometimes a man likes to switch back and forth. [Not really, he's just being stubborn for the sake of it.]
