Log 12 [Video]

[Robin is sitting at her desk with a curious dog in her lap. Yes, that is a mustache. She looks neutral though the dog looks faintly worried--or perhaps constipated--it's difficult to tell]

For those who don't know, Marco has been kidnapped. Let's hope he comes back as something bearable, ne? But I would prepare for the worst. The Malnosso have been too kind lately. [She pets the dog's head lightly as if this doesn't bother her overly much]

A lesson to all you new feathers, the Malnosso will come for you one day without fail. There is no fighting them yet, though of course you should try. Don't allow yourself to be taken easily. However, when that time comes, you will be taken in--experimented on, tortured perhaps--you may remember it, you may not. You may be changed, you may not. Either way, your existence will be altered.

Though, on the bright side, the effects are usually temporary. After all, there's no point in permanently incapacitating a test subject when they are needed for further use.

[Locked to Norma]

I don't know if I will see you before Marco returns, but he wanted to let you know he loves you. Take care, ne? And if you need anything don't hesitate to call me.

[and with that she closes the journal]

Oh. What do you like?

.. I guess it's just about "endurance" in the end. They're bound to give up eventually when we aren't amusing enough anymore to them.

Then again, reaching that kind of point will be impossible with some of the loudly screaming idiots here every time an experiment happens.

[An offered nod. If that's the case, he'll stay put for her sake.]

I'll hope that's not the case. [His voice is only a few hairs away from sounding as tired as hers; they're both trying here.]

... What would you like for dinner tonight? [A change in subject, and he can only hope it will provide a small enough distraction]

I'm not at all surprised, as I find both animal and Pokemon to be more similar than they seem. Both parties you can train and form a bond so strong that they become your best friend and ally. They both require proper care from their trainers or owners and they can defend themselves if necessary, with or without our aid. And those who are considered wild act exactly like any other Pokemon who're living in their natural habitat. The only difference I can think of at the top of my head are their appearances and their names.

Certainly. But before you go, may I have your name?

[There's just enough of a challenge to the request that the corners of Sanji's mouth lift.]

Spring, heh?

Well if it's a request from Robin-chan, I'll make sure not to fail!

I know it's natural, but maybe if everyone could actually hold back just for once, then maybe they'll hold back more during their next experiment or whatever. It's at least worth a try, but it's impossible since even if someone told everyone to stay calm, they'd still panic.

In the library, both genres seem to sort of merge together. Spock says there were a lot of differences between his history and the account of the Enterprise I found.

Huh... Are they all in the library? I have a friend who's pretty well-versed in a lot of the first and I'm sure she'd love to read about others' histories and all, and the last book doesn't sound too bad either.

[Spock could try to explain everything... but he..

...it was like reliving it. And he wasn't ready for it.]

It was my fault.

[He smiled in return] As would I.

Until then, you have a great day.

[And with that said, he cuts off the feed]

S'pose that works. It's support and all that. It just burns, y'know?
