Log 009 [Video/Action]

[On Day One, Robin will open the journal and look faintly bemused... ~~Though she's been waiting for the distraction.~~]

Well then, this is interesting. There seems to be Alabasta outside my window. [~~how familiar~~]

I hear pyramids are often rigged with death traps, curses and murder. [An open invitation to go exploring with her]

Days 1-2

[Either by going into a pyramid or falling through an unseen pit of sand, you will find Robin in the tombs, investigating hieroglyphs, treasures or mutilated mummies.]

Day 3

[Robin will be on a ~~not really~~ tame Mammoth, exploring the chilly countryside and might offer rides to weary passersby or, then again, might ignore them completely]

Days 4-5

[Robin will be relaxing in the Shogunate, you may find her reading under a cherry tree, dressed in the local wear though she does have an eye (or several) open in case of ninja]

[What? She doesn't understand then why start off with the whistle?

Though what? She also knows Marco but no... It isn't urgent and she goes to shake her before speaking normally.]

No, it isn't urgent. I thought that you could speak it like him.

[Okay, since she might be one of Marco's friends, she may not go crazy on her and she shifts back into her normal form. She goes to first brush back a few stray strands of her own hair, stretching her wings before they are folded against her back again.]

[Her lord? The transformation and the question is so surprising that Robin can't help but laugh. Imagining Marco a lord of any kind, with those puffy trousers and a little crown. The great lord pineapple. She tries to calm herself and smiles at the heron woman]

Marco-sama and I are acquainted, yes. Though I only know a few words and your whistling is different. [She cocks her head] A dialect perhaps?

[She blinks and tilts her head. What? What caused that laugh? And hey now, Leanne has already dubbed him (without him knowing) my lord Pineapple Head.]

...He seems to know a lot of Beorcs here..... [Leanne, you don't know the half of it.] Ah, I guess that you can say that it could be that. Our clans are different afterall so our dialects could very well be different from each other.

... How do you know of our whistling?

Beorcs? Is that close to "people"? [People other than bird folk, she imagines. Though then again, this woman's perception seems somewhat skewed since, as far as she knows, Marco doesn't have a clan]

Marco-sama was gracious enough to teach me some words. [others she's picked up on her own. More or less] He is very wise, ne?

It is the respectful term for your race, my lady. [Okay, that is good enough for being this close to a Beorc and she is just now gonna find a branch to perch on.]

[Strange to see her perch on a branch. Are birds always this nervous or is it just her? Regardless, Robin is starting to feel like a cat who has treed a bird and is waiting languorously for it to come down. She raises her eyebrows at the mate question however.]

[She did mate with him often enough and they were in a committed relationship or something like it anyway]

[Think what you want but trees are much better then sitting on the ground! It's just Leanne that is a little nervous around humans. Though she gives the older woman a head tilt at the answer.]

But yet it's not official isn't it?

It's nice to meet you Princess-sama. I'm not sure what you mean by 'official' but I doubt it will be official on any level except perhaps acknowledged.

That is the head he was born with unfortunately. But he has always been weird, yes, but he is, after all, a blood thirsty pirate. That is to be expected.

..... Is that because he doesn't want to leave either his brother or the nestling?

.... So are most pirates weird like him? He doesn't seem to be so bloodthirsty to me.

[She won't answer the bloodthirsty comment. If Leanne needs to know the truth of that she will]

(Leanne blinks at the terminology before giggling as much as she can.)

You mean his family don't you. Some of our words are the same as yours, my lady.

(Though at the revelation of Robin being a pirate, she goes to tilt her head.)

I think nothing of it. You are who you are and what does being a pirate define who you are? From what I can see and tell is that you are Robin, the one who Marco will make his mate. You are also gentle and kind as well.

I think you're very naive. It's attractive if somewhat fatal.

[Though Robin sounds friendly enough]

People have unexpected depths, Princess-sama. Even the kindest seeming people can hide darkness. I knew a man who protected others from pirates, people admired him so much they considered him the true savior of the people. It was quite a shock when he tried to destroy them afterwards.

That as it may be for beorcs but from members of my clan he wouldn't been able to hide his true nature, my lady Robin. His chaos alone would have served as a warning.

But from neither you or Marco have I sense that level of falsehood.

Not yet. We hide our chaos well.

[Both of them would sacrifice nearly anything for their nakama if they had to. And she wonders if Leanne will ever see Marco splattered with the blood of those he'd killed and if she would still think so kindly of him then.]

But there's few to be worried about here. [Not with Marco to keep her safe]

Except for the Malnosso, of course.

Or youhave enough Order to balance it out. (She giggles from the safety of her perch. Silly Beorc woman.)

(That would be difficult to answer as she herself would not know how to react to that sight.)

There is? I believe that may or may not be true if I maybe so bold to say. (Except for Brooke and Perona, all that Leanne has met so far has been nice to her.)

Everyone has only been speaking negitively about them but I have yet to see why. They so far seem to be nice.

[Order? She's not sure how she feels about that. Not quite sure what it means. Robin is confident enough to feel that Leanne can trusts who she likes here. There is no one overtly malevolent that she's seen. Though she raises her eyebrows at the Malnosso comment.]

[You should all the good feels about that, Robin. Order is good and nice~ But since if Robin doesn't know what a Heron can do it won't hurt to try and see just what is up with her.

[She wonders if she should tell her. But it may not matter, since there is nothing she can do to prevent herself from being taken. Nothing can save her from the pain of this place... but it is much like the pain of life, isn't it?]
