[Robin looks quite serene today, though those who have known her will notice a certain glint in her eye that spells trouble. It is high time she gets one certain thing straight in her life]

Hello, Luceti, and new feathers. Welcome to our little town where you will both make wonderful friendships and suffer traumatically for making them. However, that's life, ne? It will all work out in the end. [after we break them in half like twigs]

Speaking of trauma, however, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to kidnap a certain longnosed sniper, who is fond of elaborate stories but not so much of mushrooms. I was thinking a baited trap of some sort and briefly considered an arrow to the knee but that may be going a bit far. I do want to keep him around, after all.

I am how I am. [she sips the coffee and turns a page of her book. After a moment she says:]

Yeaaaaah, figured as much. Moment I met you you were uh, eccentric.

[And he was a whiny little brat.]

Not much, really. I decided to finally go to school here. Can only dismantle so many things in your apartment until you get bored.

Eccentric? You think so?

[she's honestly surprised. She's never considered herself eccentric. Was she really? Granted, she was used to being different from--others but eccentric? It takes her a moment to recover from that...

but recover she does, and so says mildly:]

What is it you're studying?

Well, yeah. I mean on our first meeting didn't you kind of just make the whole library sprout arms? Pretty eccentric to me.

As for my subjects, I'm taking most of the ones being offered. 'Cept the magic class and music.

[she wants to tell him to make friends, but stops herself before she can. Perhaps he has many friends, perhaps none at all. She doesn't know him all that well and the thought makes her sad a little]

[It was probably better this way to keep her at arms length. Make sure she cares, but not get her too close to find out his problems. That'd only complicate an already good relationship. Probably end it in the end, really. After all, who wants to deal with emotional problems of another?]

Oh? What are you a genius in? {there are many different kinds and while those that proclaim themselves geniuses generally aren't, she's willing to give him...somewhat a benefit of a doubt]
