Log [Action/Video]
[She wakes up in the middle of the forest. It is hard to tell what time of day it is but things seem to be more alive. Everything is moving. It is then she realizes she is somewhat...changed.]

[Well then, this is interesting. She tries to speak, but only comes out with a faint meow. How frustrating. Finding her journal she flips it open with a swipe of a paw, and sees that the writing function has been disabled. Of course it has. But you may, if you are fortunate, see a black cat staring down at you until she flips the book back shut, picks it up in her mouth and trots villagward.]
[Feel free to meet her any where, including journal pings. Replies will come from

So I've heard... but if it's temporary, doesn't that make him just as dead as me?
[I mean really, he probably stayed dead waaay longer than Zoro will.]
I'm actually thinking of writing him a dirge birthday song.
[Action]
[She rests a bit]
[But he is still more dead since you are mobile and he is not
[At least not that she knows. She wonders the manner of death. Probably perforated, knowing him. If he drinks, will they have to plug him up in case he springs a leak?]
[Action]
As for being more dead? I suppose you could say he is currently more dead. I think Ace mentioned something about him contracting a deadly virus of some sort.
[Ace was kind enough to leave out the part that it was a zombie virus. Brook then decides, to clear off the previous messages Robin wrote in the dirt, so she'd have more space, and wouldn't have to get her tail dirty. He's sure she's had enough licking dirt out of her fur for one day anyways. Well at least he's pretty sure... he's never really had the chance to speak to many intelligent cats before.]
[Action]
But ah yes. Disease. The great leveler of them all. Even one as strong as Zoro. She dips her head as a wave of something cuts through her but quickly shakes it off. There is no point and cats don't have the capacity for such emotion. She nods in appreciation as he clears the dirt]
200 years ago, there was an island in the G. Line called Dreamers. A great race of giants lived there. Warriors. Maybe cousins to Elbaf? But all were killed in a plague from a small child they had tried to save. A whole civilization for one life.
[She pauses a moment to lick her paw]
But a great life
[As the girl had gone on to write the history of Dreamers and several other islands besides. They had loved her, too, those giants. Even in the very end.]
[Action]
That's... that's really sad Robin.
[He's actually crying right now, as he was sort of holding back his feelings about Zoro dying. Now she was sharing with him, a story about a whole civilization that was lost because of their love for a child? It struck way too close to home for comfort given his love of Laboon and the loss of Captain Yorke and many of his crew to illness.]
Sooooooo saaaaad! Yohohoooooo!
[Don't mind him, he's going to bawl for a bit on you. God, he really was feeling overly emotional right now, but he just couldn't help it.]
[Action]
It will be all right. She wants to say. What is there to worry about? But she can't, of course, say anything. And any loss hurts. Nakama in pain hurts. And there is nothing to be done but wait and try not to break completely]
[Action]
Sorry Robin I just... that sort of story really strikes home with me, you know?
[He pulls out a handkerchief, blowing his nose like a fog horn, as he tries to stop himself from crying. He's not really completely there yet though. He really, really doesn't want to ask, as that would probably continue the story, but he had to know.]
Did the girl ever find out what happened to the giants? And... was she alright?
[Action]
She was lonely for a long time. But she was rescued one day and made it her dream to tell the world about the Dreamers. They are in legends now and bedtime stories on the islands she visited.
[and of course the most important part]
She never forgot them and neither did her nakama.
[Action]
[He's just sort of howling and banging his hand against the ground now. Dang it, he knew this was going to happen, but not knowing how it ended probably would have been worse.]
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
I think... in the end we'll both be alright Robin. It is all very sad, but to dwell too much on the past will make us unable to move on to the future. So we'll remember the ones we've lost, and keep on going and living for their sake, just like that girl.
[He's fairly certain that it's a fairly obvious moral, but it's just a hard one to accept when you're feeling so down on yourself. He had to get the emotions out of his system somehow, and pouring them into his music was the best way he knew how.]
[Action]
Then she writes once more]
As long as there is memory, it is enough. [Not quite enough but it is hard to get the exact sentiment with dirt words.]
[And then because life must go on]
Can you make coffee? [Since she is not sure she can do it herself]
[Action]
[Hmm... that might not have been as good of a play on one hand behind my back as he was hoping for. He opens the door for Robin, seeing as how she can't exactly open it in her current form.]
Sanji probably has a decent coffee maker in the kitchen right?
[He's not exactly sure as he's never bother making coffee before, being more of a tea man.]
Umm... hang on, I'll be right back.
[Brook quickly goes into his music room to fetch some of his writing materials he uses to record his music. At least this way she can still communicate, without them having to resort to weirder methods. Like spilling sugar on the table so she effectively has 'dirt' to write in. Hopefully she can still write somewhat small enough not to eat up too much of his paper.]
Sorry, just grabbing a few things.
[And now he's busily preparing coffee to the best of his abilities... even though he's not sure if he remembers all the details, if there are any.]
Can cats even drink Coffee safely?
[In retrospect he probably should have asked this before he started.]
[Action]
She perches on the table while he grabs a few things and notes gratefully the paper. This will be much easier. At his question, she dips a claw tentatively in the ink and writes out]
I don't know. It will be interesting to see what happens.
[and if she does expire, well, she should be back in a week or so.]
[Action]
[He trusts that she probably knows best about her feline body after all. Although if she does end up dying, he'll probably have a mild break down... no biggy.
Well... whether or not it's any good, Brook's coffee for her has now finished, and he pours her a steaming cup. Then he rethinks it, and puts it into a bowl instead. No offense meant Robin, but he doesn't think a cup would be the best way for her to safely drink it.]
Here you are, one steamy bowl of Joe.
[The coffee... was almost certainly... utterly average.]
[Action]
Still you did make it for her so]
The taste won't kill me.
[a few more experimental laps]
Has anything interesting happened while I've been gone?
[Action]
Well that's something I suppose. I'd hate to be responsible for you keeling over and dying.
As for anything interesting... well I suppose that depends on your definition of interesting. Marco gave me a lift to Luceti, I played my violin for a dragon, there were some prankster ghosts floating around, there was a plague of bats, rats, and spiders... What sort of things interest you most?
[Action]
How do you find Marco?
[Action]
That's... an interesting question.
[What kind of answer was she looking for? Well, may as well be brutally honest.]
He seems like an interesting fellow, if not with some slightly strange quirks. What do you see in him, and liked enough about him to have this relationship?
[Action]
Luceti makes being nakama complicated. Marco is uncomplicated.
[It is easy to speak of anything with him.]
[Action]
[Brook just loved using double entendres.]
