Log 004 [Video]
[You will see Robin sitting in her bedroom, glancing at the journal. It could seem like it was accidental, as if she was reading something else]
Strange how it seems both quiet and crazy these days, ne?
[Much quieter than she likes. Much quieter than she's used to]
Tell me your stories. Any stories so long as they are true. I want to know what Luceti is like. I want to know who you are. It could be fun.

So this one time, the pineapples that raised me thought it would be cool to teach me how to ski. Of course at the time I couldn't quite get the ski boots over my talons, so they told me to just hold onto the skis and pushed me down the hill.
I made a very nice large snowball.
[Oh, did you want a true story? He's not sorry. That was obviously the truest story he's ever told.]
no subject
Is that really how you ski, Bird-chan? Throw yourself headfirst down a hill?
no subject
Hey hey, I got better, eh? I can ski just fine now.
Except moguls. Them I don't get.
no subject
She cocks her head to the side at the strange word]
Moguls?
no subject
They purposely make bumps in the snow. Death traps to kill you I assume. [Forever deadpan, and possibly serious.]
no subject
[But before you can dwell to long on that]
And how many times were you killed on them? [Given that he is a phoenix. And the image of him rolling down a hill in fiery panic amuses her somehow]
no subject
Make sure you stay until winter and that can be easily arranged.
[Coughs discreetly.] Only a couple... dozen.
[Honestly, whether he's lying or not is really up to the imagination by now.]
no subject
I think I will, if only to watch you tumble downhill. But, of course you can't die too much. I'll need someone to warm me, after all.
no subject
no subject
Can you die? How much of your phoenix aspect is a myth?
no subject
[Oh woman. He adores you truly, but that is not something he wants to reveal to anyone right now.] I could die permanently, yes. [By removing his devil fruit. A reason to very very seriously avoid Blackbeard and yet...]
As for separating truth and legend from myth and man, isn't that your job? What fun would it be if I just told you?
no subject
Hmm. It will take intensive study. Are you sure you're up for it?
no subject
Are you?
[Why yes, he did just throw down the gauntlet.]
no subject
So of course, I'll have to be thorough.
no subject
Do you prefer to start at the top or the bottom?
no subject
What would be the fun if I told you? You'll just have to wait and see.
no subject
I could hazard a guess, but aye, it'll be much more fun to see in action I have no doubt.

no subject
[... Yup.]

[And she whistles faintly back at him.]
no subject
Ah... who indeed.
[Okay obviously flustered, at least for Marco.]
no subject
[She's not completely clueless-- Something she said obviously affected him, but that kind of come back--or lack thereof--seems unusual for him]</small.
no subject
I seem to have forgotten what we were talking about. Which is... unusual for me. I guess I lost my head due to the beautiful company, eh?
no subject
Are you sick? [Or hiding something? She's faintly worried.]
no subject
Ahhh....
[Rubs the back of his neck and whistles something experimentally to her.]
