Log 001 [Action] Storming your castle

[There's a ~~troll in your dungeon~~ Robin in your bedroom. Don't get too excited ~~Sanji~~ certain people, she is not there for your entertainment. Perhaps the Malnosso are just messing with her, or perhaps she's just messing with you. In either case, she's obviously a new feather, judging by her garb, but then again perhaps not.]

[Ooc: Time breakage and thread-napping are great. ~~have fun, kids~~]

I could be a God, but that would make the man who created me a greater God, and that he is not. Father as he is, he's no god. Just a very powerful sorcerer.

[[It's not hard to get untangled, it's just that there's a lot more hair than someone who isn't Rapunzel would be used to being around.]]

Probably. There are a lot of us.

[Interesting. So sort of undefinable then. Robin is free soon enough and the hands burst into petals as she rises to stand beside the bed.]

Have your abilities been curtailed in any way here?

Oh, a bit, but, there's no desire for me to bring about that level of destruction... anymore.

[[Val is rather interested in this girl, at least her ability, but with the woman free, a breeze blows her hair off to the size of the bed; a breeze inside a building despite closed windows. And with her hair off the bed behind her, she has a seat.]]

Destruction? [Robin raises her eyebrows. This sounds like a story.]

We've gotten good at destruction ourselves. [Or rather getting their enemies to destroy themselves somehow. She's never quite worked out how it happens. A cluster of hands come up from the floor, merging together to form a fairly large hand that she can sit on. Which she does and smiles at the woman]

Do you have companions here?

From home... I only have my father here. My creator.

But... besides them, I have my own little family here. I share the bed with my girlfriend. You don't have to apologize if you happen to have been curled up with her at some point. She knows I won't be jealous.

I had a daughter, but she's gone home. I've a sister now as well.

[She would like to meet this father/creator. Those kinds of things have always fascinated Robin and this is a sense of the mystical coming alive. A chance to see what it was really like. Though on the more normal side of things she's glad Valvalis has a family here. Perhaps that's what one needs to survive anywhere.]

If I've curled up with anyone I haven't noticed.

How long have you been in Luceti?

A little more than four years.

You know, you seem to know all the right questions to ask about people being here. Have you been here before? Or is this rather normal for you, mmm?

[And they haven't met before this? Interesting. Luceti was always a surprise

I've been here before. Two years ago in my time. I was sent home, then brought back. I wonder why...

[She half wonders if it's because the Malnosso enjoy toying with their...experiments.]

[[Certainly Val would remember a woman who could replicate her arms like that.]]

Well, aren't you both lucky and unlucky. To go home, but then return.

As far as I'm concerned, this is my home. I'm probably one of the very few who would hate to leave.

[[Or maybe some other ill-intentioned force is toying with them?]]

Even with the chance of being experimented on?

[She just doesn't understand this.]

Even though you may meet friends here and people who've died... is it really worth just being a test subject?

[She doesn't ask this to challenge but to understand, try to puzzle out why anyone would prefer it here]

Well, a mild inconvenience here and there is much better than the alternative of returning home.

I have a family and friends here. Back there... Well, I'd simply be a memory in the minds of a few heroes. I was already dead before I came here.

I see.

[It was interesting. She's always been interested in myths, but has never stopped to consider how it would feel for those that existed only in memory.]

If only you could stay here without the Malnosso... [They were the only problem. The biggest problem. The only thing that stops it from being some sort of temporary afterlife.]

Well that'd be just idea, but it's always fun to meet new people. After all, you and I wouldn't be sitting here having this chat.

Oh... where are my manners, after all. If you've just gotten here, perhaps you need something to eat or drink. I'm... a terrible cook, but I can at least try.

Oh no, thank you. I couldn't impose. [She stands and her hand seat bursts into a shower of petals]

But I do hop we meet again soon.

Oh, but you're not~ I've got nothing but time, and it's always lovely to have company over.

I've got nowhere special to go, so I'll most certainly see you again.

[She contemplates staying but she does have nakama to find and other changes to discover.]

I'm certain to make time. [She smiles]

Are you involved in any of the...businesses in Luceti?
[Perhaps not the most accurate term but the only one she can think of.]

The official businesses, no. However, I've been known to teach a few people how to use magic.

Is that so?

[Shes' never much been interested in magic for herself but it's good to know someone who can do it just in case.]

What can you do?

I control the wind. Not as well as I could back home, but, no sense in causing storms that could level our settlement.

I can fly, float, and manipulate the wind as much as I'd like.

Nami can do much the same. [She wonders if the wind woman could help Nami refine her technique.] Do you know her?

Oh, I know Nami. We used to be closer but... She and I have so many different things we do, I think we've drifted apart.

But, if you know that much about her, then, I'm far more skilled and in control of the wind than she.

[That happens but the fact that Luceti can break freindships as well as form them sends a little chill down her spine.]

[On the other hand, friends and nakama are two different things]

I see. Well, then, if I ever come across someone who wishes to learn I'll be sure to send them in your direction.

Oh, of course. I wouldn't mind a new student or two.

Perhaps even you're interested yourself?

Perhaps. But I'll need to reorient myself here first.

[Strange that there seems so much to do and yet in reality there is so little.]

Oh, take your time, of course. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
